August 2026 Agent Drawing Winners: Eight Chances Left

Stroud National Agency, Inc. closed August and welcomed September with a presence at IRMI AgriCon in Nashville. Our agents closed August the way they always do, by writing business. Two of those agencies came out of the August 2026 agent drawing with gift cards and a spot in our year-end grand prize drawing. That leaves eight of the 24 spots open.

August 2026 agent drawing winners

Congratulations to our winning agencies for August:

John Michael Vestal Insurance Agency of Lubbock, TX

WebsiteFacebook • LinkedIn

Dustin Larremore Agency of Brownwood, TX

Website • Facebook • LinkedIn

Both of these agencies spent August the way good agents spend every month: on the phone, out on properties, and down in the details of what an operation actually needs.

Texas carried the drawing this time, though agencies across our 18-state territory put business on the books last month.

Whether your agency won or not, the coverage you wrote counts for the client, for your book of business, and for our family-owned business.

How to get in the next drawing

If your agency has already won this year, your spot in the grand prize drawing is locked. If not, you have four months and eight chances left. Write business in September and you’ll be in the next drawing.

There’s no form to fill out and no box to check. Write a new farm and ranch, irrigation, commercial agribusiness, small business commercial, or manufactured home policy with us, and your agency goes in the hat. When the month closes, we draw two names for $100 gift cards and a spot in our $1,000 year-end grand prize drawing.

AgriCon and AFIS

IRMI’s Emmett J. Vaughan Agribusiness Conference ran August 31 through September 2. IRMI calls it the premier event for insurance and risk professionals who handle farm and agribusiness exposures. Stroud National was proud to sponsor the event in our 65th year, with Vice President Mike Garretson representing us in Nashville.

IRMI also administers the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) program. Three members of our staff hold the AFIS designation: Mark Osborne, Elizabeth Welch, and Mike Garretson. The AFIS isn’t necessary to work in our industry, but it sure can help get the right coverage in place for ag exposures.

Working with Stroud National

Have an account that needs a home? Send it over. You don’t have to be contracted with us to get an account reviewed, because our quote request forms are open to any licensed insurance agent.

Quoting farm and ranch

On farm and ranch, there are two quote request forms, admitted and non-admitted. Travelers Agribusiness anchors the admitted side, and ARU handles the rest. Either one reaches us in real time and generates a PDF for your file. We follow up from there. Start a farm and ranch quote request.

Quoting other lines

We place irrigation, commercial agribusiness, small business commercial, and manufactured home accounts too. Our Products page and Agent Tools page cover appetite and how to start quoting.

Becoming an agent

Ready to start riding with the Stroud Crowd? We have no minimum volume requirements, and your first policy puts your agency in the next monthly drawing. Become a Stroud agent.

Thank you

That room full of ag insurance professionals is a good reminder of how many options agents have for placing business. Stroud National has been helping to serve the insurance needs of American agriculture for sixty-five years, and for the last two decades we’ve done that as an MGA and wholesale broker for independent agents. None of that works without the choices you make, one account at a time.
